Local Hotels

We recommend that you stay in Carcassonne, in or near the restored mediaeval walled town, but hotels do get booked up very quickly, so try to book well in advance of your visit. Carcassonne centre is about 25 minutes drive away with Narbonne about 30 minutes.

Carcassonne:

Best Western Hotel du Donjon, in the mediaeval cité

Mercure Hotel, just outside the cité

Hotel de la Cité, most prestigeous and expensive in the centre of the cité

IBIS hotel, in main town, not far from the cité

Trois Couronnes, Frantour Hotel, on banks of the river below the cité.

Narbonne:

Grand Hotel du Languedoc, in centre close to the canal de la Robine

Hotel Occitanie, on the outskirts, but close to the motorway junction.
